33kV Connection at Clyde Business Park

The design, installation and post construction commission tests of earth electrodes for a customers & DNO substation sites. These projects included carrying out a soil resistivity survey, develop an earth electrode design to comply with the relevant safety standards both for an electrical fault and lightning protection in the case of wind farms. Installation and post construction earth electrode testing.

Scope of Work

  • Full design and build of a 33kV substation
  • Coordination with SP Energy Networks for grid connection

  • Cable routing and installation

  • Full commissioning of HV equipment

  • Tight timeline with only three months for design and installation

  • Coordination with local DNO (SP Energy Networks) for early approval of designs

  • Limited access to the site during peak construction season
